FIRE SAFETY DOOR
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
- The door leaf is SANDWICH type, with an outer coating of electro-galvanized sheet metal and an internal filling made of non-combustible thermal and sound-insulating material based on mineral fibers. On the back side, it is equipped with two security bolts.
- The frame is made from Cold Rolled Steel, 1.5mm thick. It has countersunk holes for mounting and is fitted with thermally expanding tapes around the perimeter. The width of the frame is 96.5mm for strong support, and its thickness is 65mm. It comes with matching top and bottom frames so that the door can be either right-handed or left-handed.
- Two heavy-duty hinges with ball bearings are provided. One of the hinges includes an integrated return spring so that the door can return to a closed position following a command from the fire suppression system in case of a fire.
- The lock is made entirely of steel with fire-resistant handles and escutcheons, compliant with DIN 18273 FS standards. The lock is protected internally and externally by 10mm thick gypsum board.
- The fire doors are painted with an electrostatic RAL 7035 textured paint (light grey).

- The double fire doors from idoors consist of two equal panels. The only exception is the width of 140 cm, which can be manufactured either with two equal panels of 70+70 cm or with one opening panel of 100 cm and one semi-fixed panel of 40 cm.
- Custom-sized doors can be made for both single and double doors, in increments of one centimeter.
